Just a few days after Halloween on November 5th we celebrate Bonfire Night. It is all about the bangs of fireworks in the sky, the fizzing of sparklers, eating toffee apples and that smell of bonfire with a Guy sitting on the top. But what is it really about? Guy Fawkes, and the Gunpowder Plot.

Bonfire night marks the failed Gunpowder Plot of 1605 by Guy Fawkes and his co-conspirators to blow up the Houses of Parliament.
