First things first is writing your resignation letter, make sure that it isn’t too long and straight to the point. Make sure to talk to your boss and make sure to hand the resignation letter direct to keep on a good relationship.

Remember if you are going to work for competitor, make sure to read the competitor clauses and account for your holiday entitlement within your notice period.
